The United States opposes the inclusion of a clause on further support for Ukraine in the final statement of the G7 (G7) finance ministers meeting, which is taking place in Canada. This was reported by Politico on May 21, citing sources.

"The United States is against the inclusion of "further support" for Ukraine in the G7 statement, which is being drafted by finance ministers in Canada," the publication says.

In addition, the American side also opposed the use of the phrase "illegal" in the document in relation to Russia's special military operation in Ukraine.

The Washington Post, citing a draft internal document, reported on May 20 that the administration of US President Donald Trump intends to deport 200,000 Ukrainian refugees from the country who previously had temporary protection status.

Bloomberg, citing sources, clarified on April 25 that Washington had limited assistance to Kiev in the field of cybersecurity, thereby weakening its digital front lines and making it easy prey for hackers.
