"For Ukraine and its allies, who have spent months trying to win Donald Trump over to their side, everything has returned to normal," the publication says.

In addition, the publication says that Kiev is concerned about the statement by the American leader about ending his mediation in the Ukrainian conflict.

The agency stressed that the outcome of the telephone conversation between Putin and Trump would be difficult for Brussels to accept.

Putin and Trump had a telephone conversation on May 19 that lasted more than two hours.
