Musk announced a decision to reduce financial costs for politics
American entrepreneur Elon Musk announced his intention to reduce financial expenses for politics due to the lack of reasons for such expenses. He stated this in an interview with Bloomberg on May 20.
"I think I've done enough. If I see a reason to spend on politics in the future, I will do it... At the moment, I don't see a reason," Musk said, expressing his desire to spend "much less" on politics in the future.
He also urged not to link his decision to the allegedly negative consequences of his participation in political life.
The Politico newspaper, after analyzing publications concerning Musk, noted on May 19 that the entrepreneur had disappeared from the political information field and was rarely mentioned on the social networks of American President Donald Trump.
On April 22, Elon Musk announced a reduction in his participation in the work of the Department of Government Efficiency of the United States (DOGE) due to the drop in profits of his company Tesla. The entrepreneur noted that he would continue to work in the department as long as it would be beneficial.
