St. Petersburg hockey club SKA-1946 beat Spartak Moscow with a score of 2:1 and reduced the gap in the final series of the Youth Hockey League (MHL) playoffs to 3:2. The meeting was held at the Megasport Arena in Moscow on May 20.

Forwards Alexander Filippov (37th minute) and Matvey Korotky (54th minute) scored goals for the visiting team. Forward Ivan Ryabov scored for Spartak (57th).

The score in the series of up to four wins was 3:2 in favor of Spartak. The sixth match will take place on May 22 in St. Petersburg. If necessary, a decisive meeting will be held on May 24 in Moscow.

On April 16, it became known that Daniil Anatsky, the forward of the SKA 1946 hockey club, was disqualified for seven matches for elbowing the referee. In addition, the athlete will have to pay a fine. The incident occurred during an MHL game with the Loko club from Yaroslavl.
