Ilyusha, a calf calf that was shot down and abandoned on the side of the road in the Moscow region, died.

Ilyusha the moose calf, who had been lying on the ground for two days in an immobile state after an accident in the Moscow region, died. This was announced on May 20 by a source of Izvestia.

Later, the relevant information was confirmed by the chief physician of the Maxima Vet clinic, Maria Zhukova.

Details about the death of the animal are not provided. Before the operation, the veterinarians assessed his condition as stable and satisfactory.

A correspondent for Izvestia reported on May 19 that a moose was shot down in the Istra district of the Moscow region, after which the animal lay for two days near the village of Pavlovskaya Sloboda in an immobile state.

Later that day, the calf was examined and transported to the Losiny Ostrov National Park for assistance. The prosecutor's office of the Moscow region noted that the work of the services after not providing assistance to the injured animal will be checked.
