In the Moscow region, a sports car caught fire when it collided with a bump. This was reported on May 20 in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.
They noted that the accident occurred on the 4th km of the M-1 toll highway "Odintsovo Northern Bypass".
"According to preliminary information, a man born in 1981, driving a passenger car, collided with a road fence, after which the vehicle caught fire," the department's Telegram channel said.
According to the Izvestia source, the car that caught fire was a McLaren sports car, which was allegedly driven by racing driver Vasily Kudenko. The health status of the driver and passenger is being clarified.
Earlier, on May 18, it was reported that an accident involving two cars occurred in the Lefortovo tunnel in Moscow, as a result of which one of the cars overturned. As a result of the accident, traffic was impeded by 1.2 km.
