Sergunina spoke about the attendance of the Moskino digital film platform

The Moskino digital platform has been visited 2.5 million times since its launch in the fall of 2023, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital.

"The platform has already attracted 800,000 unique users. It is in demand not only among industry professionals and students of specialized universities, but also among everyone who is interested in cinema," Sergunina said.

According to the deputy mayor, more than half of the views are on the page dedicated to relaxing with family and friends at the Moskino Film Park. It contains a schedule of immersive performances, exhibitions, guided tours and other events. One of the excursions, the "Cinema Expedition", covers the scenery of the bell tower of Ivan the Great and the Terem Palace of the Moscow Kremlin, a real Tu-154 aircraft and the largest chromakey in Europe.

On the platform, industry representatives can apply for approval of filming, select suitable locations and props. Moscow residents and tourists can also sign up for excursions and master classes, learn about creative meetings and other events.

The service also has a section for those who want to build a career in the industry. It presents programs of specialized educational institutions and courses for actors, screenwriters, editors, cameramen and other professionals in the field.

Sergunina stressed that the Moscow authorities pay great attention to the development of the industry within the framework of the mayor's project "Moscow — the city of cinema". The film cluster already includes the Gorky Film Studio on Sergei Eisenstein Street and in Valdai Passage, a cinema chain, a film park and the Moskino film factory.

The Moskino film commission helps to organize filming in the city. Since the beginning of the year, it has received over a thousand applications — 53% more than a year ago. One of the most popular film sets is the Moskino Film Park. In three months, 15 projects have been implemented here, Sergunina said.
