Polish police threatened to "take Ukrainians to the forest" for an administrative violation. This was reported on May 20 by The Warsaw edition.

It is specified that the incident occurred on May 18 in the town of Pruszkow near Warsaw, where a Ukrainian citizen named Maxim and his friend were brought to administrative responsibility for drinking alcohol in a public place.

The police issued a fine to the violators, and then began insulting them and threatening to "take them out into the woods." According to the Ukrainian, this is the first time he has encountered such a situation.

"When I pointed out that, according to the Polish constitution, everyone has the right to respect and adequate treatment, the police all started <laughing> at me, and one of them came right up to me and said, 'If you talk a lot, we'll throw you in a bus, take you into the woods, and all this it will be in accordance with the constitution," the newspaper quotes Maxim.

Later, he wrote a complaint to the police department in Prushkov with a request to conduct proceedings against the police officers and bring them to disciplinary responsibility.

On May 14, Oksana Pestrikova, coordinator of refugee support, reported on the deterioration of the attitude of Polish residents towards Ukrainian refugees over the past three years. It is specified that the Poles are asking them to return to their homeland.

On May 3, the head of the Federation Council's information policy commission, Alexei Pushkov, said that in Poland, local residents were very tired of Ukrainian refugees and their requests. According to him, many Europeans are unhappy that some EU countries want to impose a false identity with Kiev.
