Stavropol authorities will allocate more than 11.5 million rubles from the city budget for the repair of LED trees on Dzerzhinsky Street. The contractor will be determined based on the results of the electronic auction, according to the public procurement portal.

The main task of the future performer is to restore the LED-RGB kit. It consists of three-dimensional decorative structures in the form of deciduous trees of the Sakura type. Each design, of which there are 131 in total, consists of RGB LED pixel modules, a power supply system, and a control system.

The contractor will also have to restore the decoration elements of the trunk and branches, eliminate visual defects, chips, cracks, and mechanical damage. The list of works includes the addition of marble chips on decorative bases and the restoration of the paintwork of metal elements.

After the repair, the trees should shine with the colors of the flags of the Russian Federation, Stavropol, Stavropol, and also imitate foliage depending on the time of year. Additional features include eight types of New Year—themed illumination and synchronization with the Starry Sky art object on Alexandrovskaya Square.

According to StavropolMedia news agency, applications for the auction will be accepted until May 26. The results of the auction are expected to be summed up on May 28.

Earlier it was reported that in Stavropol they want to ban the installation of cell towers near schools and kindergartens. The relevant initiative was approved by the city Committee on Housing and Communal Services.
