Russians have revealed the amounts of their vacation budgets

According to the survey, 70% of Russians are still choosing dates and destinations for their holidays, 20% have already rested, and 10% do not intend to rest. The most popular vacation months have traditionally been August (51%) and July (49%). September has a high share (34%). Holidays in May and October are also attractive (21% and 18%, respectively).
Among the Russian destinations where Russians most often book accommodation for the summer, Krasnodar Krai (19% of bookings), St. Petersburg (13%) and Altai Krai (10%) are in the lead. Foreign destinations are led by Turkey and Abkhazia (15% each), Thailand (11%), Belarus (9%), Italy (8%), China (7%) and Vietnam (5%).
Beach holidays have become a popular holiday format, which is chosen by almost half of the respondents (49%). In second place are active sports (hiking, cycling, mountain tours), which were voted for by 44% of respondents. Spa hotels and sanatorium resorts are the last three leaders, preferred by every third Russian (29%). This is followed by sightseeing tours (28%) and holidays at home or in the countryside (27%).
On April 21, it was reported that the traditional beach holiday is gradually losing ground. Russians are increasingly interested in author tours from local residents (25%), sanatorium recreation (24%), railway routes (11%) and gastronomic trips (10%). It was noted that many also want to "change the season" and go from winter to summer.
