On May 18, the qualifying stage of the Architects educational program ended.Russia, the organizers of the project said. This year, more than 1,200 people applied for participation, which is the highest result in the program's history.

The purpose of the Architects program.The Russian Federation aims to fill the shortage of specialists for the implementation of a strategy for the development of human settlements in the country. Applications for participation in the program were given the opportunity not only by certified architects, but also developers, sociologists, environmentalists, geographers, cultural scientists, political scientists, economists, anthropologists, lawyers and specialists in the field of tourism and communications.

At the first stage of the competitive selection, the participants filled out questionnaires and sent their portfolios to the organizers of the competition for consideration. The next step will be a video interview. By May 22, candidates whose documents fully comply with the requirements of the competition will be invited to it. The final stage is a meeting of the selection committee, which will determine the composition of the seventh stream of the Architects program.One hundred finalists will be announced before July 1, 2025.

The participants of the qualification selection will have an educational program lasting about 8 months, consisting of 4 full-time modules. It includes various training formats: research trips to Russia and abroad, lectures, meetings with experts and work in project groups.
