The media reported on the likely development of cancer in Biden during his presidency

Former US President Joe Biden may have contracted prostate cancer while still in office. The Washington Post writes about this, citing experts.
Ezekiel Emanuel, an oncologist and professor at the University of Pennsylvania who was on Biden's COVID-19 advisory council, said that the former president was probably diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of his term. According to him, "it has not developed in the last 100-200 days," as this type of disease cannot progress quickly.
"I didn't say there was any conspiracy. I made it clear that he had cancer, that's a fact. Whether he knew or not, I do not know," the professor explained.
According to the newspaper, criticism of Biden arose because of the last medical report of the former head of state in 2024. Then his doctor announced that Biden was healthy, and did not indicate prostate problems. These results have led conservatives to question. In their opinion, the examination was supposed to reveal the disease, so "either it was not carried out, or the White House is hiding it."
Earlier, on May 18, The New York Times reported on Biden's diagnosis of an aggressive form of prostate cancer. He is rated at nine points on the Gleason scale, belonging to the fifth group.
The next day, American leader Donald Trump expressed sympathy for Biden after the news of the illness. The Head of State and his wife wished him a speedy recovery.
