The total damage from the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow amounted to almost 6 billion rubles. This was announced on May 20 by the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation in materials shown during a speech by the head of the department, Alexander Bastrykin, at the XIII St. Petersburg International Legal Forum (SPIEF-2025).

"The total damage caused by the terrorist attack amounted to almost 6 billion rubles," the presentation says.

On the same day, Bastrykin reported that more than 2.3 thousand people were recognized as victims in the case of this terrorist attack.

On May 19, the court extended the detention of the defendants in the case of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall for 3 months. Fariduni Shamsidin, Rachabalizoda Saidakrami Murodali, Mirzoev Dalerjon Barotovich and Fayzov Mukhammadsobir Zokirchonovich remain in custody (recognized as terrorists and extremists in Russia).

On March 3, Bastrykin announced the completion of investigative actions in the criminal case of the terrorist attack in less than a year. It was clarified that the defendants and their defenders are currently completing their review of the case file.

The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall took place on March 22, 2024. Terrorists in camouflage broke into the building, they started shooting and set fire to the concert hall. 145 people were killed and 551 injured in the attack.
