In Krasnoyarsk, a "waffle iron" was applied on Vzletnaya Street

A waffle iron marking has appeared in Krasnoyarsk at the intersection of Vzletnaya and Oktyabrskaya Streets. Thus, the accident rate at the intersection should decrease, the press service of the city administration reported on Tuesday, May 20.

This marking reminds drivers that it is impossible to enter it if there is a traffic jam ahead, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

As explained in the mayor's office, traffic jams in the city occur due to the fact that motorists enter a clogged intersection, interfering with the passage of vehicles from the cross streets.

Earlier in May, it was reported that almost 100 garages on Gladkova Street would be demolished in Krasnoyarsk in order to build a two-lane road. Now the city authorities are looking for a contractor to dismantle the buildings.
