A dynamic parking tariff will appear on 58 more sections of Moscow streets.

Starting from June 20, a dynamic parking tariff will be in effect on 58 more street sections in Moscow, the Department of Transport of the capital reported.

They explained that with minimal parking occupancy, the driver will not pay anything. However, the cost will vary depending on the workload level.

"Thanks to the dynamic fare, drivers can plan their route in advance, taking into account the estimated cost of parking, as well as save time searching for a free place for a car. This also contributes to a more even distribution of parking space occupancy," the Department of Transport explained.

The dynamic tariff has been applied since November 1 last year on five streets in the center of the capital. Parking was most often 0 rubles for drivers on Tverskaya Zastava Square.

Also, starting from June 20 of this year, new sections of streets will be added to the residential permit zone. This year, the changes will take place in three stages (from June 20, August 15 and October 3). All the innovations have been coordinated with the municipal deputies.

Thanks to the changes, local residents will get priority when parking a car near their home. "In addition, due to paid parking, the number of violations of the rules of stopping and parking, as well as the arrival time of emergency services, is reduced, which increases security in the city," the Department of Transport noted.
