The UK has expanded the anti-Russian sanctions list, which includes 20 individuals and 62 legal entities. The government announced this on May 20.

It follows from the published document that restrictions have been imposed, including on 18 courts, as well as the St. Petersburg Currency Exchange (SPVB) and the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA).

In addition, as the British government emphasizes, London continues to work on regulating oil prices in order to further limit Russia's "critically important oil revenues."

Earlier that day, the Council of the European Union adopted the 17th package of anti-Russian sanctions. The head of the European Commission (EC), Ursula von der Leyen, noted that the new list includes 189 tankers that allegedly transport Russian oil under the flags of other states.
