You can recognize a phishing site by checking it in open sources. This was announced on May 20 by Denis Kostin, Deputy head of the Department for combating property crimes committed in the field of computer information of the UBK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, a police lieutenant colonel at the Izvestia News Center press center as part of a round table on the topic: "Protection against telephone and Internet fraud: security strategies".

According to him, in order to recognize a phishing site, you first need to check the resource in open sources, including on domain name registrar sites. If there is little data or the resource is foreign, you should not contact us.

You can also view reviews on the Internet. If there is negative information, then it is not recommended to trust this site.

In addition, fraudulent websites are constantly blocked in Russian browsers. They are mostly found in foreign browsers.

Earlier, on May 14, Igor Bederov, director of the Internet Search company, told Izvestia about how to protect yourself from fraud through pick-up points by ordering. He explained that deception can be detected, first of all, by an unexpected call "from the delivery service" without prior notification through the official application or email.
