The domestic Atom electric car will receive a voice assistant with neural networks

The Russian electric car Atom will be equipped with a voice assistant with neural network technologies, which will be able to take into account the preferences of the driver. This is stated in the message of the Kama electric car development company, which was received by Izvestia on May 20.
The system with generative artificial intelligence will be able to analyze the condition of the car and give useful tips, for example, how to save battery power. It will offer interesting places along the route — cozy cafes with excellent reviews, attractions and other locations.
In addition, the voice assistant allows you to control climate control, adjust doors and windows, adjust the steering wheel, mirrors and seats, as well as lighting. It provides work with the phone, contacts, multimedia system and radio.
The voice assistant will be integrated with an augmented reality projection on the windshield and a tablet on the steering wheel. Atom's voice assistant software is being developed by Enbis LLC. At the same time, the assistant can work offline without an Internet connection.
"The voice assistant will not repeat programmed phrases, it will always take into account the context of the conversation, rely on both the internal knowledge base and the enormous background knowledge, and will be able to respond to any request," said Maxim Usov, technical director of Enbis.
On May 13, the developers of the domestic Atom electric car announced that they had conducted the first of three crash test cycles, during which both bodies and assembled pre-production cars with a number of prototype components were tested.
On January 28, Kama showed the first pre-production prototypes of the Atom electric car. These are full-fledged cars with working functionality, their design fully corresponds to the future production version. Atom's serial production is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025, and electric cars will be produced at the Moskvich plant in Moscow.
