Trump noted Putin's kind words about the first lady of the United States Melania

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday, May 20, spoke about the praises of Russian leader Vladimir Putin to the first lady of the United States Melania Trump.

"Putin only said, 'They respect your wife very much.' I asked what about me. No, Melania likes [everyone] more," he shared during the signing ceremony of the new bill at the White House after a telephone conversation with Putin. The speech was broadcast on the Sky News YouTube channel.

The US president signed almost 140 decrees, imposed duties and began to establish relations with Russia.

Putin and Trump had a telephone conversation on May 19 that lasted more than two hours. During the conversation, they discussed, among other things, the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. The Russian president called the conversation informative, frank and useful.
