The FSB stopped transit shipments of 1.8 tons of cocaine worth 6 billion rubles to the European Union

The Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia has stopped two transit channels for the supply of 1.8 tons of cocaine to the European Union (EU) for 6 billion rubles. This was reported on May 20 in the department.

It is specified that in March of this year, a citizen of Ukraine and his accomplice were detained with 1,110 kg of drugs, which they planned to export to Europe for a criminal group. Later, in April, two people from South America were also stopped with 725 kg of cocaine about to be shipped to Europe. The total value of the seized drugs was at least 6 billion rubles. It has been established that some of them could be implemented in Russia.
