A serviceman of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with the call sign Kazbek (Ramazan Zakaryaev) has been surviving under a damaged tank without water and food for almost a month, and the fighter is currently in the hospital. His wife Zahra informed Izvestia about this on May 20.

"His right arm still doesn't work, his legs can barely walk. There are still long-lasting leg pains. He still can't sleep at night without painkillers. And his speech has not recovered yet, he stutters a lot. Doctors say it's a long rehabilitation," the woman shared.

She noted that the military should be transferred to another building, most likely to neurology. According to doctors, there is hope for recovery, Zahra clarified.

The woman said that she had contacted her husband's colleagues. When they reported his alleged injury, Zahra began contacting everyone to find out the details. As a result, Kazbek was able to get out from under the tank on his own.

"He got out on his own. It turns out that he got closer to ours, and there he came across our dugout with our guys, and they helped him get to the zero position," Zahra added.

The woman also reported that the soldier had not eaten anything for the entire month. According to her, he waited for rainy weather to drink water.

The fighter himself said that he started collecting rainwater in a bottle on the 10th day. According to Zakaryaev, one day he received two shrapnel fragments in his head and leg.

That night, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the exploits of the Russian Armed Forces in the area of the special operation. The ministry noted the actions of the guard of Private Alexei Pugachev. Acting as part of an artillery gun crew, he carried out the task of supporting the advancing units of the Russian army. As a result, he hit an enemy drone using personal small arms and injured his arm when the drone detonated.
