The construction of a new exposition and exhibition center of the State Historical Museum near the Novodevichy Monastery continues in Moscow. Currently, the specialists of PPK "United Customer" have already erected all five floors of the building, including the underground one, and installation and finishing works are underway.

"We are creating a modern complex for valuable artistic and historical monuments included in the museum fund of the Russian Federation. The exhibition halls will house exhibits from the Historical Museum's collections: icons, church vestments, church household items, old printed and handwritten books, frescoes and other collections that make up the pride of the National Museum of Russia. According to the work plans, the new museum will receive its first visitors at the end of 2026," said Alexey Levykin, General Director of the Historical Museum.

The construction of a new exposition and exhibition center is underway within the boundaries of the buffer zone of the Novodevichy Monastery ensemble, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
