The Russian Armed Forces have organized a UAV counteraction system in the Red Army area

Fighters of the Center group of forces of the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) have organized an effective system for countering unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the Red Army area. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on May 20.

"Anti-aircraft gunners are constantly monitoring the sky. When enemy UAVs or FPV drones are detected, fighters immediately open fire from machine guns and special smoothbore rifles," the department's Telegram channel says.

Dmitry Ivlev, the deputy platoon commander, noted that in combat conditions one has to risk one's life to save others. He added that tanks and mortars are firing at their positions, and for every downed Ukrainian drone, two or three cluster munitions arrivals have to be tolerated. Therefore, Russian fighters are actively working with UAVs and trying to quickly leave dangerous areas.

Hundreds of changes have been made to the design of the products since the beginning of the special operation.

On the same day, the calculation of the Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system of the Vostok group of forces destroyed a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Yuzhnodonets direction of the special military operation (SVO). It is specified that the positions of the Ukrainian militants were discovered by UAV operators.
