A resident of Ugra in a gas mask robbed a pharmacy and an order pick-up point

Investigators opened a criminal case after a resident of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug — Yugra (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug) wearing a gas mask stole from a pharmacy and an order pick-up point. This was reported on May 20 in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

When the alarm went off, the police arrived at the local pharmacy and found a broken glass insert of the entrance door. Law enforcement officers established that an unknown person entered the outlet, from where he stole a cash register and contraceptives.

It is specified that during a patrol near the crime scene, a man in a gas mask was seen, who, seeing a traffic police car, ran away and hid behind a KAMAZ truck. He was detained, and he turned out to be a 27-year-old local resident who tried to leave a cash register under the truck. In addition, during the search, police officers found a laptop that had been stolen from the pick-up point.

"The detainee became a defendant in a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. During the investigation, the suspect was given a preventive measure in the form of a subscription not to leave and proper behavior," the message says.

At the moment, the amount of damage is being determined.

On January 31, an armed man stole about 7 million rubles from a bank in Yekaterinburg. The incident occurred in the evening on Cosmonauts Avenue in Ordzhonikidze district.

The day after the bank robbery, a criminal case was opened under Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Robbery"). It was reported that an attacker could be sentenced to up to 15 years for a crime.
