As a result of an accident that occurred on the Almaty — Yekaterinburg highway near the border of Kazakhstan and Russia, involving a bus and a truck, six people were killed and five others were injured. On May 20, the police department of Kostanay region informed about this.
As TASS clarified with reference to the agency, the accident occurred on the morning of May 20, two kilometers from the checkpoint. There were 10 foreign citizens on the bus.
Upon the incident, law enforcement agencies opened a criminal case in accordance with the article on violation of the rules of driving, resulting in the death of two or more people. At the moment, an investigative ambulance team is working at the scene.
Earlier, on May 1, it was reported that an accident occurred in the tunnel on Marshal Zhukov Avenue in Moscow, followed by a car rollover. The details of the incident are not specified.
