- The US Department of Health has deprived Harvard University of grants worth about $ 60 million.

The U.S. Department of Health has stripped Harvard University of a number of grants, totaling approximately $60 million. This was announced on May 20 by the American Ministry of Health on its page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
"Due to the continued inability of Harvard University to combat anti—Semitic harassment and racial discrimination, the Ministry of Health is terminating the issuance of several multi-year grants totaling about $60 million over the entire period of their validity," the publication says.
As the agency noted, US President Donald Trump will not tolerate discrimination at the university. The Ministry stressed that federal funds need to support educational institutions whose activities are aimed at protecting students.
On May 2, Trump announced his intention to strip Harvard University of its tax-exempt status. He believes that "Harvard deserves it." Prior to that, on April 29, it was reported that the US presidential administration had launched an investigation into the university and the Harvard Law Review scientific journal in connection with allegations of racism.
On April 24, the American leader called Harvard University a "threat to democracy." He also accused the university's leadership of "liberal disorder." Trump's comment came after the university's management repeatedly ignored the demands of the White House administration on the educational institution.
