- The operation to rescue a moose trapped under a car in the Moscow region has begun

The operation to rescue a moose that was hit by a car in the Moscow region has begun. Footage from the scene on May 19 is published by Izvestia.
At the moment, the animal has already been loaded into a car, in which it will go to the Losiny Ostrov National Park, where it will be examined by specialists.
"They were able to put him down only on the third attempt. <...> Despite the fact that it was already dark outside, concerned residents are still here and are monitoring everything that is happening," said Izvestia correspondent Yevgeny Naprienko.
On May 19, it became known that a moose had been shot down in the Istra district of the Moscow Region, and the animal had been lying immobilized for two days near the village of Pavlovskaya Sloboda.
Andrey Samoilov, a leading veterinarian at the Istra Veterinary Station, told Izvestia that the moose's rehabilitation will last from 14 to 21 days, depending on the animal's condition. Also, as part of the treatment, a consultation of veterinarians will be held to give an accurate diagnosis.
