During the retreat, the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) threw away their weapons. Petal mines, unexploded aerial bombs and a Baba Yaga-type unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) shot down by the Russian military remained at the enemy's locations.
According to one of the soldiers, among the captured weapons there is a German-made Haenel MK 446-A2 assault rifle, which was obtained during the battle in Russian Porechnoye, and weapons of the "Polish contingent." In addition, there are Polish and Australian grenades.
"As it happened, yes, during their mega retreat, they threw a lot. Of course, it was all found and seized in a timely manner," said a soldier of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, a platoon commander with the call sign Shiroky.
