WWII-era mines and fuses discovered at Abram Cape in Murmansk

In the Abram-Cape microdistrict in Murmansk, during excavation work, a mine and fuses from the time of the Second World War were discovered. The press service of the regional Department of the Russian Guard reported this on Monday, May 19.
"Rosgvardiya specialists, having examined the dangerous finds, found that in front of them there are a 50 mm mortar mine and two head fuses from the Great Patriotic War, which may pose a threat to others," the report says.
According to the Bi-port news agency, explosives experts handed over the finds to the staff of the investigative task force for further verification.
In early April, 12 munitions from the Great Patriotic War were found near one of the villages in the Pskov region. Among them were 11 mortar mines.
