Modernization of the water intake node in Pushkinskoye will be completed in 2026

The comprehensive modernization of water intake unit No. 1 continues in Pushkinsky (Moscow Region). It is planned to complete the work in 2026, according to the city district administration.
As of May 19, drilling of two wells has been fully completed, the necessary strapping has been completed and a complex of pumping equipment has been installed. The foundations for two new reservoirs have also been filled in.
"A modern water treatment system, which was not previously installed here, will be installed in the new pumping station building under construction. Thanks to this, after the facility is put into operation, the water will go through three stages of purification," the deputy head of the district Lyudmila Konopatchenkova quotes the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya.
A temporary water treatment system, specially installed before the dismantling of the second lifting station, is now supplying local residents with water. The modernization, which began in August 2024, is scheduled to be fully completed in 2026. It is expected that the quality of water supply will improve for 30 thousand people.
