Sergey Lunyushin, a psychologist of the highest category, NLP psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, cognitive behavioral psychotherapist, told whether the retreat helps to fight fatigue.

In conversation with the agency RuNews24.Ru On Monday, May 19, the specialist noted that retreats are in fashion now and are in high demand, especially on the eve of summer. Many psychological coaches and trainers gather groups and go to Baikal or Altai to arrange a retreat. There, people practice meditation, work with emotions, and conduct guided exercises.

"But what's the point? A person finds himself in a different environment, he is psychologically distracted from the problems that exist in his real life. He takes a break from them, thereby being filled with positive emotions, especially through group exercises," the psychologist explained.

According to him, many return from retreats inspired, rested and joyful. Meanwhile, there is another side to the coin. As Lunyushin notes, this type of recreation is positioned as psychotherapy, whereas psychotherapy is still a change in human behavior.

"A retreat is like a pill that temporarily relieves the tension that has accumulated in real life. But a person does not change, and his behavior in real life and his habits do not change," the specialist emphasized.

According to him, all the tension will continue to build up again. With the help of retreats, a person does not try to change, but instead becomes dependent on retreats, which he uses as an excuse that he is working on himself.

"People, in fact, live and work just to go on a retreat. Because of this, the quality of real life suffers," said Lunyushin.

He added that those who often go on retreats, by and large, thus escape from real life into an environment of peace and relaxation from routine.

On May 17, Angelika Yeremenko, a psychologist and doctor of the highest category, told Izvestia about ways to deal with stress. According to her, breathing exercises are among the effective stress management techniques. It is necessary to inhale, hold your breath for four counts, then exhale.

On May 15, Ekaterina Statsevich, an HR expert and clinical psychologist, told NSN that signs of professional burnout include increased conflict, constant mistakes, and missed deadlines. According to her, there are two types of burnout: the first is caused by a sense of meaninglessness of work, and the second is chronic exhaustion, which is associated with the need to quickly switch between tasks and a constant change of cases, notes 360.ru . She added that 40% of Russians consider themselves to be "burning out," writes RT.

In April, psychologist Oksana Korchagina, in an interview with the Moscow City News agency, said that over the past few months, schoolchildren in the capital have become more likely to turn to psychologists with questions about exams. Psychologists recommend using different relaxation techniques and techniques for managing emotions, as well as time management techniques.
