Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, said that starting from the middle of this week, the weather in the Moscow Region will begin to adjust to the summer mood.

In an interview with Radio 1 on Monday, May 19, he noted that +18...+19 degrees are expected in Moscow and the Moscow region. The coolest day of the week will be Tuesday, May 20, when the thermometer will show +15 degrees and rain will pass. On Wednesday, May 21, the temperature will rise.

"On Thursday, the sun is waiting for us and the temperature is already +20, and at the very end of the working week — +22-24 degrees," said Shuvalov.

According to him, the heat is likely to remain on the weekend. June, according to Shuvalov's forecast, may begin with a 30-degree heat wave.

On the same day, Shuvalov, in an interview with RT, noted that Tuesday would be the coldest day of the current week. This day will also be the rainiest.
