The boy died due to the fall of a playground structure in Stavropol

An eleven-year-old boy died as a result of a fall of a sports and play metal structure on a playground in Stavropol. This was reported on May 19 in the Telegram channel of the regional prosecutor's office.

"According to preliminary data, on the afternoon of May 18, 2025, in the village of Khersonsky, Budyonnovsky district, a sports and play structure fell on a child," the report says.

The prosecutor's office organized an investigation into the boy's death. It will assess compliance with the requirements of legislation on the protection of the rights of minors and the safety of play spaces.

Earlier, on May 12, it was reported that a one-and-a-half-year-old child died as a result of falling from a fifth-floor window in Makhachkala. He died upon arrival at a medical facility.
