The spheres of work in Russia with the expected salary growth in 2025 are named

Salaries of employees in the legal field, the tourism industry, as well as equipment repair specialists may increase this year, Vladislav Bykhanov, managing partner of the Cornerstone recruitment company, told Izvestia on May 19.
"Many companies are fighting for graduates to somehow bring down the level of inflated salaries. As the rate of hiring is decreasing in many industries, the need for recruitment specialists will also decrease. At some point, the salaries of specialists in this profession were also "overheated" and could reach up to 600 thousand rubles at the level of not even the HR director, but only the head of recruitment," the expert noted.
According to him, in the legal field, on the contrary, there were slightly low salaries. But salaries will rise this year, as the process of a large number of lawsuits in the corporate business due to non-payments is currently beginning. Competent specialists are needed to compile these claims.
"We still see a shortage of equipment repair specialists, and their salaries will only grow. This is confirmed even by statistics on the country's fleet, which show that more than 80% of the fleet are cars older than seven years. Specialists in the development of relations with the countries of the East will also be in demand. So the prestige of universities [that train such specialists] and the demand for this education will grow and, most likely, the state will subsidize and support these universities, as well as institutes that train engineers," Bykhanov added.
In addition, in his opinion, salaries will rise in the tourism industry in Russia, as they were underestimated, and there was a shortage of personnel. However, salaries in the construction sector will not rise in the near future, as there is, on the contrary, a reduction in construction volumes.
"Salaries in stores will increase as discounters cease to be discounters focused only on undemanding customers. According to analysts, almost "the entire middle class" has switched to this format. But due to the fact that they are demanding of service, we can assume that the level of sellers will increase and the quality of service will be higher," the expert added.
In turn, Katerina Kazakova, the founder of TOPPERFORMER, an expert in strategic human capital management and Executive search, noted that she sees no prerequisites for any spikes in salary offers before the end of 2025, either upward or downward.
The wage race, which we observed last year in almost all areas due to staff shortages, has stopped due to the cooling of the economy by raising the key interest rate. Some experts expect a reduction in the key rate by the end of 2025, while others, on the contrary, predict its increase, in such a situation there is no need to talk about wage growth," she explained.
The expert clarified that there is also no need to talk about a significant reduction in wages due to the continuing shortage of staff and the continued increase in inflation in some product segments against the background of a general slowdown in annual inflation.
"The labor market is a "green swamp" in which no one makes sudden movements and everyone is "hiding" in anticipation of how the key rate will change," Kazakova concluded.
Earlier, on February 10, it was reported that in 2025 the nominal salary will increase by 12.5%, and the real salary, that is, adjusted for inflation, by 3.3%. This follows from the results of the February macroeconomic survey of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. This estimate is twice lower than the September forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development, which assumes an increase in real earnings by 7% in 2025.
