Forecaster predicted warming in Moscow in the last days of May

Alexander Ilyin, a forecaster at the Meteo forecasting center, said that a noticeable warming would come to Moscow only in the last days of May.

In conversation with aif.ru On Monday, May 19, the specialist noted that the weather in the capital will be cool and rainy this week. As early as May 19, the thermometer will begin to drop, in the first half of the working week it will cool down to +11...+16 degrees, and it will rain.

A short warming can be expected in the middle of the week. By the end of the working week, maximum temperatures are expected to reach +18...+23 degrees. Mostly it will be without precipitation.

On the weekend of May 24 and 25, the air temperature will drop slightly again, but at the very end of the month it will go up again. Warming is expected to reach +20...+25 degrees.

Earlier that day, Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, said that meteorological summer would begin in Moscow on Thursday, May 22. It is expected from +8 to +10 degrees at night, and from 20 to 22 degrees Celsius during the day. The average daily temperature will already be +15 degrees, and we can say about the beginning of the meteorological summer.

Also on May 19, Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, told RT that Tuesday would be the coldest day of the week. The coldest day will be Tuesday — the temperature will drop to +15 degrees. And it will be the rainiest day, notes 360.ru .

On the same day, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, announced that on Tuesday the air in the capital would warm up to a maximum of +12...+14 degrees, writes Moscow 24. The thermometers will show no more than +7...+9 degrees Celsius next night, the website clarifies. kp.ru . The specialist warned that at the beginning of the working week, the capital will also be covered by rains — up to 10-15 mm of precipitation will fall on Monday and Tuesday.
