Belarusian border guards found two corpses of refugees on the border with Latvia

Belarusian border guards on the border with Latvia found two corpses of refugees, as well as one beaten foreigner. This was reported on May 19 in the Telegram channel of the State Border Committee of Belarus.

"On Saturday, May 17, Belarusian border guards found the corpse of an Iraqi refugee in Verkhnedvinsky district. There was another foreigner next to him who could not move independently," the report says.

The servicemen provided medical assistance to the victim and called specialists. As a result, the man was hospitalized. Subsequently, the border guards found a second corpse wrapped in a sleeping bag.

It is specified that since the beginning of May, five dead refugees have been found on the border between Belarus and Latvia.

On May 14, it was reported that Belarusian border guards had found the corpse of a refugee on the border with Latvia. He was in a sleeping bag. Abrasions, scratches, and bruises were found on the body of the deceased.
