A court in Moscow fined Apple 2.5 million rubles for LGBT propaganda

The Tagansky court of Moscow imposed a fine of 2.5 million rubles to the American company Apple in the case of LGBT propaganda (the movement is banned in the Russian Federation and recognized as extremist). This was reported on May 19 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.
"The court decided to find Apple Distribution International LTD guilty under Part 3 of Article 6.21 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations and (or) preferences, sex reassignment, refusal to procreate") and impose a fine of 2.5 million rubles," the court decision says.
The meeting was held behind closed doors. The court granted the petition of an Apple representative, who asked to close the process due to the risk of disclosing confidential information about the operation of the American company's service.
In April, it was reported that a protocol had been drawn up against Apple for promoting non-traditional relationships. The Tagansky Court of Moscow has registered a case of an administrative offense.
