Named the most popular used cars in Of Russia

The Lada 2107 sedan became the most popular passenger car model on the Russian secondary market in April 2025. This is stated in the message of the analytical agency Autostat, which was received by Izvestia on May 19.

In the middle of spring, Russians bought 13.1 thousand Vaz sevens. The second place in the rating was retained by the Lada 2114 Samara-2 hatchback (10.4 thousand units), followed by Kia Rio (9.8 thousand units) and Hyundai Solaris (9.6 thousand units). The Lada 4x4 SUV (Niva) entered the top five aftermarket leaders, with an April result of 9.1 thousands of units.

The top ten was rounded out by Lada 2170 (Priora), Ford Focus, Toyota Corolla, Lada 2190 (Granta) and Toyota Camry. According to the results of the first four months of this year, eight models occupy the same rating positions, and Priora is ahead of Niva.

Compared to March of this year, all models recorded sales growth, the most serious was Kia Rio (+16.4%). Compared to April 2024, most models also showed growth. And negative market dynamics was recorded only for Lada 4x4 and Toyota Corolla (-12% and -9.2%, respectively).

Earlier in the day, it was reported that in April 2025, Russians purchased 509.7 thousand used passenger cars. This is 13.7% more than in March 2025, and almost repeats the result of April last year (509.5 thousand units).

On May 15, it became known that the average price of a new Russian car in April 2025 reached 1.48 million rubles, which is 54.8% more than in February 2022. The average price for a used Russian car no older than 20 years in April 2025 was 0.6 million rubles, which is 26.1% more than in February 2022.
