- Eco-activists broke into the election headquarters of the Polish presidential candidate

Eco-activists of the Ostatnie pokolenie ("The Last Generation") movement broke into the electoral headquarters of Warsaw Mayor, Polish presidential candidate Rafal Trzaskowski. This was announced on May 19 by eco-activists on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
According to the activists, the seizure of the headquarters was timed to coincide with the day after the first round of voting. They demanded a personal meeting with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, and also called on the authorities to abandon the construction of new motorways in favor of financing public transport.
In a video posted on a social network, the crowd can be heard chanting "We want to live."
"We are holding civil disobedience actions and telling the ruling politicians that they have no right to take away our future," said one of the participants.
The protest was peaceful, the police did not intervene, and there were no reports of arrests or property damage. The participants stated that they would leave the headquarters only after meeting with Trzaskowski.
Polish radio station RMF FM reported on May 5 that eco-activists from the Ostatnie Pokolenie movement glued their palms to the Poniatowski Bridge in Warsaw. The activists demanded that the Polish authorities increase investments in transport infrastructure, introduce a single ticket, and arrange a meeting with Tusk.
