The Russian-Chinese forum has started in Khabarovsk

A large-scale Russian-Chinese forum has started in Khabarovsk, including discussions on trade and investment. This was reported on May 19 by a correspondent of Izvestia.

The concept of the project was approved by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping. The forum program includes hundreds of events. Dozens of different meetings will take place simultaneously in the halls and offices. The participants of the event discuss economics, politics, trade, culture, linguistics, and ecology.

"The forum's motto: "Bolshoy Ussuriyskiy. Cooperation in the joint development of the island." Right now we are on the Russian part of it. Then there is the state border and the western part, which belongs to China. You can see her clearly from here. The easternmost pagoda of the Celestial Empire is located there," said Izvestia correspondent Evgeny Podtergera.

Cross-border businesses share their own experiences, including interaction with government authorities. Last year, at the Eastern Economic Forum, the President of the Russian Federation gave instructions to increase non-primary exports from Russia to China. At the moment, there are already positive examples. Chinese residents have fallen in love with Russian foam drinks. There is a good sales indicator there.

An invention was also presented at the forum — a bicycle car drove through one of the halls. It is a patented mechanism that is safe, mobile, and healthy. While a person is riding on it, he pumps up his muscles.

"And so, it turns out that while you're driving, you're pumping your abs with micro-movements. <...> And in fact, it turns out that your back is free, your hands are resting, lying on the armrests, and you are full of emotions," said inventor Oleg Pajinov.

The Russian leader called the relations between Russia and China a model of interstate communication.

On May 8, the Russian President said that Russian-Chinese relations are self-sufficient and do not depend on the current global situation. According to him, at the moment, the interaction between the two states has reached the highest level in its history.

During the talks with Putin, the Chinese President, in turn, stressed that the states are obliged to steadily strengthen bilateral strategic cooperation and promote equal multipolarity.
