- The Russian government will allocate 1.5 billion rubles for business access to foreign markets

The Russian government will allocate 1.5 billion rubles to support the entry of small and medium-sized domestic businesses into foreign markets. This was announced on May 19 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
"We will also continue to develop the infrastructure to support SMEs in Russian regions. In particular, we will allocate 1.5 billion rubles to further stimulate the entry of small and medium—sized enterprises into foreign markets," he said during a meeting of the government commission on the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Mishustin also recalled that in April of this year, the investment lending program in priority sectors was launched again in the amount of about 100 billion rubles. According to him, in the first quarter of 2025, regional guarantee organizations issued about 2.5 thousand guarantees, which allowed businessmen to receive almost 110 billion rubles.
In addition, the Prime Minister noted the allocation of more than 5,000 microloans for a total amount of about 13 billion rubles.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on May 15 that Russia's economic stability was largely made possible by the active support of the business community.
According to him, despite the difficulties and external pressure, in 2023 Russia managed to achieve significant growth for both the country and the global economy. The Russian leader noted that progress was made possible thanks to the coordinated actions of the country, business and labor collectives.
