Olga Blok-Mirimskaya, People's Artist of Russia, died at the age of 71. This was announced on May 19 by the press service of the Oleg Tabakov Moscow Theater.
"It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Oleg Tabakov, People's Artist of Russia and one of the leading actresses of the Theater. Olga Blok-Mirimskaya passed away on May 18," the theater's Telegram channel wrote.
The actress has been a member of the theater troupe since 1990. Her first role was Rosa Gurevich in the legendary production of "Matrosskaya Tishina," followed by work in Vladimir Mashkov's productions of "Local Time's Finest Hour" and "Bumbarash Passion," the statement said.
During her career, Blok-Mirimskaya starred in more than 30 films, such as "Carnival", "Goddess: how I fell in love", "On the corner at the Patriarchs", as well as in the TV series "The Balzac age, or all men are their own ...", "My beautiful nanny". Mirimskaya is also remembered for her role as Shura, the cousin of Vika's nanny, played by Anastasia Zavorotnyuk, in the TV series "My Fair Nanny".
