On May 19, the multimedia exhibition "We Won Together", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, opened at the Khudozhestvenny Cinema. She became a part of the forum "Dialogue of Cultures". Thematic photo projects and installations were placed in the lobby, and in the cinema hall the guests were presented animation and documentary films, the heroes of which were veterans of the Great Patriotic War, prisoners of concentration camps, children of besieged Leningrad.

In 2025, the forum received a record number of applications — 850 works from 35 countries, including Australia, the USA, France, Latvia, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, India, Uzbekistan, and even exotic countries such as Japan, Brunei, and Guinea-Bissau.

"There are photographers among the participants, as we would say now, from unfriendly countries," Ashot Jazoyan, Chairman of the organizing committee of the Dialogue of Cultures forum, told Izvestia. — But then, in 1945, these states participated with us in the fight against fascism. At the exhibition you can see very good photos of veterans by Stacy Purcell from the USA. The participants from France brought a film about the pilots from the legendary Normandy–Neman regiment. There is a sincere admiration for the winners in their work. Despite the political gestures of the leaders of their countries, they reached Russia.

There is a portrait of the oldest veteran of the Great Patriotic War in Tajikistan at the exhibition. Photographer Manuchehr Ruziev captured Rashid Karimov, a participant in the Battle of Stalingrad.

Snezhana Todorova, Chairman of the Union of Bulgarian Journalists, arrived in Moscow. According to her, the anti-Russian policy of the country's leadership is at odds with the mood of the Bulgarian people.

Russian Russian soldiers who fought during the Russo—Turkish War have more than 600 monuments in our country, and 180 monuments to Soviet soldiers," she told Izvestia. — Now in the center of Sofia, some of the figures of the monument to the Soviet Army have been demolished, for some reason they were prevented by a soldier with a Kalashnikov assault rifle. They put up a fence. People started collecting signatures. Then the management said that they had sent the sculptures for reconstruction. But they don't believe them, these politicians are all paid for by the West.

The forum will last until May 27. In the coming days, participants will meet with the People's Artist of the Russian Federation, director of the Mosfilm film concern, director Karen Shakhnazarov, a trip to Moskino, the Museum of Cosmonautics at VDNH and the Nikita Mikhalkov Workshop 12 Theater. On May 22, the Dialogue of Cultures Forum will continue its work in the Northern Capital of Russia.
