The Russian Embassy has called on the Danish authorities to investigate an act of vandalism against a monument to Soviet soldiers. This was announced by the Russian diplomatic mission on May 19.
It is specified that the incident occurred on the eve of May 9 at the Bispebjerg cemetery in Copenhagen.
"The cemetery administration promptly responded to the embassy's appeal, expressed condemnation over the incident and repaired the damage caused to the monument free of charge as soon as possible," the Telegram channel said.
The Russian Embassy has also appealed to the Danish authorities to investigate this act of vandalism and bring the perpetrator to justice. At the moment, there is no information about the measures taken.
On May 2, unknown persons committed an act of vandalism against the monument to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War in Bulgaria. The vandals targeted a monument to Bulgarian underground fighters and Soviet submariners, the crew of the Shch—211 submarine, in the Kamchia area.
