The author of the animated film "The Trio from Belleville" Sylvain Chaume would like to come to Russia to personally present his new work A Magnificent Life. He told Izvestia about this on May 19 at the Cannes Film Festival.

"Yes, I would love to. With great pleasure. I was invited once, I think, to St. Petersburg, and I really want to, yes. Yes, definitely," he said.

A Magnificent Life is a film about the great French director, playwright and writer Marcel Pagnol. The film will be widely released in the fall, in Russia in December.
