- The Interior Ministry told about the danger of online "games" for children "Disappear for a day"

The Ministry of Internal Affairs regularly receives requests about the disappearance of children, among whom participants in a dangerous game are being identified. This is stated in the department's response to a request from Izvestia.
"It should be noted that a child who suddenly leaves home intentionally (according to the terms of the game) does not warn his parents that he has joined the game and is a participant in dangerous entertainment," the Interior Ministry said in a response.
As emphasized in the department, there is no talk of any games in the statements. Concerned parents take the sudden disappearance of a child very seriously, assuming the most negative scenarios, up to a tragic outcome.
From the moment the minor's disappearance is reported, police officers use all available forces and means to search for the missing child.
"Information about whether a child participates in the "Disappear for a day" game or whether other events preceded his disappearance becomes available as a result of operational search activities, as well as in the case of locating the missing person," the department said.
For more information about the fact that extremist recruiters and telephone scammers may be behind the involvement of children in a dangerous game, see the Izvestia article:
