In Yugra, more than 80 sites were flooded by floods.

In Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug — Yugra (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug), 84 household plots were flooded. This was announced on May 19 by the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"The hydrological situation in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Yugra is developing in accordance with the forecast. As of 05/19/2025, four household plots were flooded in the village of Tailakova (Surgut district), <...> eight household plots in the village of Salym (Nefteyugansk district)," the agency's website says.

They noted that floods affected 20 more household plots and two sections of the highway overflow in the city of Nizhnevartovsk, as well as 52 household plots in the city of Megion. It is specified that there is no threat to the life of the population anywhere.

Long flood: the active flood phase began in 11 regions

So far, some rivers are flooded, while others have critically low water levels.

On May 5, it was reported that local services in the Ishim district of the Tyumen Region were trying to preserve the road near the village of Bolshoy Ostrov due to rising water levels. As local residents noted in an interview with Izvestia, they have been facing such a difficult situation for the second year in a row.
