Yalta beaches have been declared unprepared for the holiday season

The beaches in Yalta (Crimea) did not have time to prepare for the opening of the holiday season. The reason is the large amount of work after the storms and the negligence of entrepreneurs, according to the social networks of the mayor Yanina Pavlenko.
The mayor notes that the municipal services do not have time to complete the installation of outdoor lighting on all coastal defenses. Pavlenko urges all beach users to maintain cleanliness and order. Otherwise, violators will be fined.
According to IA SevastopolMedia with reference to the city administration, 69 beaches are planned to be opened in Yalta this season. Divers examined the bottom of the water area. The workers also filled in the beaches, using more than 150 thousand tons of pebbles.
The agency recalls that at the end of April, the head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, promised to open about 350 beaches in the republic. Most of them are under reconstruction due to work on strengthening the coast and repairing infrastructure after the storm. At the same time, there are no swimming spots in Crimea that are closed due to the oil spill in the Kerch Strait.
The republican Ministry of Resorts reported that Yevpatoria has the most beaches — 74. 63 beaches are planned to be opened in Alushta, and 42 in Feodosia.
In early May, preparations for the resort season of specially protected natural areas began in Crimea. There are 194 protected areas in the republic with a total area of 96.6 thousand hectares. There are 82 ecological sightseeing routes along them, including hiking, cycling, water, horseback riding and automobile. 18 recreation areas are equipped, 63 more are located in the forests.
