Kuban has become the leader in the number of hotel bookings for the summer of 2025

Krasnodar Territory was recognized as the leader in the number of hotel bookings among Russian regions for the 2025 holiday season. Kuban resorts are chosen by almost 30% of tourists. This is the highest rate in the country.

According to KrasnodarMedia news agency with reference to the Russian Union of Travel Industry, St. Petersburg ranks second in this indicator (13%). Crimea takes the third place. About 9.5% of Russians plan to spend their summer holidays there.

The PCT noted that bookings in Russian hotels have increased by almost 10% this year. However, the length of stay in the hotel has decreased to 4.5 days. According to experts, this can be explained by the fact that tourists plan to visit several places in one vacation.

The agency notes that in 2024, Kuban was visited by 20 million tourists, which became a record. And since the beginning of 2025, 3.5 million people have rested in the Krasnodar Territory. This is 5% more than in the same period a year earlier.

Abkhazia was preferred by 15% of the respondents, while the resorts of Georgia were chosen by 8%.
