- The Prosecutor General's Office has declared the organization Amnesty International Limited undesirable.

On May 19, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation declared the activities of the British non-governmental organization (NGO) Amnesty International Limited (AIL) undesirable in Russia.
"The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation has decided to recognize the activities of the international non—governmental organization Amnesty International Limited, registered in London, as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation," the publication on the website says.
According to the press service of the department, the organization positions itself as a leader in the protection of human rights in the world. But in fact, AIL is developing Russophobic projects paid for by supporters of the Kiev regime.
In addition, the members of the organization have been justifying the crimes of the Ukrainian neo-Nazis since the beginning of their campaign, demanding an increase in their funding and insisting on the political and economic isolation of Russia. In addition, AIL activists provide support to extremist organizations and finance foreign agents.
Earlier, on May 13, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation declared undesirable the activities of the American non-governmental organization International Indigenous Fund for Development and Solidarity Batani. It was reported that the NGO's website published materials about alleged violations of the freedom of small peoples of Russia.
